The Dniester River Dam is a dam with a hydroelectric power plant ( Дністровська ГЕС ) on the Dniester in Nowodnistrowsk in Ukraine. It was from 1973 to 1983 built and put into operation in 1983. It is located upstream of the pumped storage power plant Dniester.

Both are operated by the Ukrainian Ukrhydroenergo and form the Dniester cascade.

The power plant has six turbines with a total capacity of 702 MW (6 x 117 MW). The lake is dammed by a 60 m high and 1082 m long gravity dam. The reservoir is 142 km ² and holds 3000 million m³.
