Geography

Złotno located two kilometers north of Duszniki Zdrój at the southern foot of the Table Mountains. Neighboring towns are Batorów and Chocieszów in the northeast, Szczytna the southeast, Dolina in the south, southwest and Łężyce Słoszów in the northwest.

History

Goldbach was founded in 1834 by Leopold von Hochberg, the builder of the castle Wallenstein. It was the parish church of St. Peter and Paul gepfarrt in Reinerz and belonged to the Prussian district of Glatz. Since 1874 it formed together with the villages Friedersdorf and the Rome District Friedersdorf.
