Dolle is a town in the castle stables in the northeast of the county Borde in Saxony -Anhalt.

Geography

Near the middle of the Dolle Colbitz - Letzlinger heath Doll ditch, one of the numerous Tangier headwaters springs. The extraordinary wooded area north of Dolle rises to the northwest and reaches 130 m above sea level. NN. The village is situated approximately 33 km north of the state capital Magdeburg. The district is bordered to the north by the district of Stendal, and on the northwest by the Altmark Salzwedel.

History

The village was named decisive headquarters of the noble family of the gates. The Heidedorf Dolle was up to dissolution of Prussia in 1947 in the province of Saxony of the Kingdom of Prussia and had a common border with Brunswick Office Calvörde.

On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Dolle, Cröchern, Sandbeiendorf and Postal merged to form the new municipality of the castle stables.

Economy and infrastructure

Dolle is a quiet heath town with tourist potentials. In recent years, been developed also a spa hotel and a Senior Condominium. Nationally known is the church held by the near Dolle Motocross race.

The region immediately to the west of Dolle is used until today to a large extent by the army as a military training area. The military development began in 1934 Between 1945 and 1994, Colbitz - Letzlinger Heath was -. Dolle is located on the main road 189, halfway between Magdeburg and Stendal. Further road links exist on Burgstall to Tangerhütte and after Angern / Rogätz.
