Dolní Paseky

Dolni Paseky until 1948 in Dolni Reuth ( German Lower Reuth ) is a district of the Czech town of Cheb Aš in Okres.

Geography

Dolni Paseky is located two miles northeast of Aš in Elstergebirge. The village lies in the valley of the White Elster, which is dammed below the village. To the north rises the Vyhlídka ( Gürther mountain, 678 m ) southeast of the Straz ( Wachtberglifte, 716 m), in the southwest of Skřivánčí vrch ( Lerchenberg, 736 m) and west of the Haj ( Hainberg, 757 m).

Neighboring towns are Kopaniny and Doubrava in the north, Gürth and Lohhäuser in the northeast, Kleedorf, molds and Ms. Green in the east, Bad Bramstedt, Röthenbach and Horni Paseky the southeast, Vernéřov in the south, Aš in the southwest, Mikulov and Krasna to the west and Marak, Smrčina and podhradí in the northwest.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1315. He was next to Horni Paseky owned by the family of Sparneck, which was well off at this point in Schönbacher Ländchen. 1342 was the Notthafft family Wildenstein new owner, later it was the family of Reitsenstein. In the year 1874, low Reuth broke off and established its own community. In 1930 the community had 578 inhabitants.
