Dom Joly

Dominic John Joly (born 15 November 1968, Beirut, Lebanon ) is a British comedian and producer. He was particularly known for his television series Trigger Happy TV.


Dom Joly was born in Lebanon and therefore speaks English, Arabic and French. After his parents divorced in 1987 his mother moved with him to England, where he graduated from the school in Oxford. His media career began as an errand boy for MTV in London, and later he worked as a researcher for the comedy show, The Mark Thomas Comedy Product. In the late 1990s he began to Trigger Happy TV to work, which was first broadcast on British television Channel 4.

Dom Joly is Stacey, a Canadian graphic designer, married and has a daughter named Parker and a son named Jackson.

For Fall / Winter 2010 he took part in I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here, the English equivalent of I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here, in part! .
