Domenico Campagnola

Domenico Campagnola (c. 1500 probably in Venice, † December 10, 1564 in Padua ) ( † 1516-1518 in Venice * around 1482 in Padua ) was an Italian painter, draftsman and engraver and adoptive son of the engraver Giulio Campagnola.

Campagnola rivaling Titian in Padua in the frescoes of the Scuola del Santo, where both operations from the life of Saint Anthony, painted, and in the frescoes in the Scuola del Carmine.

Campagnola shows himself to be a clever artists of the Venetian school. Less important it is as an engraver, because its leaves are carried out with little technical skill and best mannered in composition and form.
