Dominic Walker (bishop)

Dominic Edward William Murray Walker ( born June 28, 1948 in Plymouth, Devon ) is a British Anglican clergyman and in 2003 Bishop of Monmouth.

Life

Walker was born as the son of a Welsh mother and an English father. His mother's family came from Abertillery. Walker attended the College Plymouth in Plymouth, Devon. He studied theology at King's College, University of London. Work in the public

Walker is a devotee of a theology of spiritual healing and inner liberation through prayers. In 1997 he published a book on this topic entitled The Ministry of Deliverance. He is Chairman of the Healing Ministry Steering Group of the Church of England and one of the members, the 2000 A Time to Heal report published. He is vice chairman of the Christian Deliverance Study Group.
