Dominican Republic men's national volleyball team

The Dominican national volleyball team of men is a selection of the best Dominican players, the Federación Dominicana de Voleibol represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

In the only previous participation in a volleyball World Cup, the Dominican Republic finished in 22nd place in 1974.

Olympic games

The Dominican Republic has never qualified for the Olympics.

NORCECA Championship

After they had in 1973 to sixth place occupied, the Dominicans were the host of the 1977 NORCECA Championship and were seventh. Two years later, they escalated to fourth place. Then they were washed four times in sixth and fourth twice, where the tournament was held in 1985 again in their own country. 1997 occupied the Dominican seventh. 2001 and 2005 they were again in fourth, fifth in 2007.

World Cup

The Dominican Republic has never played in the World Cup.

World League

The World League was previously held without dominican participation.
