Dominique Perras

Dominique Perras ( born February 11, 1974 in Naperville ) is a retired Canadian professional racing cyclist and cycling commentator.

Dominique Perras began his career in 1999 with the cycling team Nutra FIG. His first stage victory he celebrated at the 2002 Tour of Hokkaido. The following year he won Flanders for a stage of the Herald Sun Tour, where he was successful in 2004; In 2003 he was also a Canadian Champion in the road race. In the Herald Sun Tour in 2005 he finished in second place overall and finished fifth in the UCI Oceania Tour 2006.

After his cycling career in 2008 Perras took on a job at the National Bank of Canada and works for the French -language television Réseau des sports as cycling commentator for all the major cycling events.
