The Return of the Lost Friends ( Original Title: Do not Look Under the Bed ) is an American television film directed by Kenneth Johnson from the year 1999.

Action

The 14 -year-old Frances is very mature for her age and believes that there is an explanation for everything. When she noticed a dog on the way to school sitting on the sloping roof of a house, raw eggs out of nowhere a car falling from a school bus shoots a water fountain, anywhere in their city turn up graffiti, they can not believe what just happened there. Time stands still for a moment, and met Larry and Zoe who can be seen only by her and her missing brother. Frances desperate and learns from Larry that the Boogeyman is responsible for it. Frances makes with Larry and Zoe on the search for the Boogeyman, a creature from another dimension, and her brother Michael. She tries to find explanations for what happened.

The Return of the Lost Friends was produced by Hal Roach Studios and Walt Disney Television and distributed by the subsidiaries American Broadcasting Company and Buena Vista Television. The filming of the family film formed in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In the U.S., the film was shown on 9 October 1999 on TV, the German premiere took place on RTL on 28 October 2001.
