Don Mattrick

Don A. Mattrick ( born February 13, 1964 in Vancouver, British Columbia ) is a Canadian manager and former computer game developers. Since 1 July 2013, he is CEO of Zynga. Previously he headed the department of Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft, who was responsible for the development and marketing of the game console Xbox One under Mattrick.

Biography

Mattrick was co-founder of Distinctive Software and after its sale to Electronic Arts at the selfsame busy. He introduced as president of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business on May 21, 2013, the new game console Xbox One ( Project title: " Xbox Durango " ) before. He also presented at the Microsoft press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo ( E3) 2013 in Los Angeles more details for Xbox One, its hardware and software components as well as some of the appearing for the Xbox One games before.

On July 2, 2013 it was announced that Mattrick will change as the new CEO immediately for game developer Zynga. In the reporting of this change was associated with perceived as unsuccessful product launch of the Xbox One.
