Don Mazankowski

Donald Frank Mazankowski PC CC AOE ( born July 27, 1935 in Viking, Alberta, Canada ) is a Canadian entrepreneur, business managers, politicians of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada (PC) and former longtime vice - prime minister.

Life

MP and climb to the Minister

Mazankowski, whose ancestors came from Poland, studied post-school law, earned a Doctor of Laws ( LL.D. ), and later worked as an entrepreneur.

His political career began as the candidate of the Progressive Conservative Party when he was elected in June 1968 for a member of the Canadian House of Commons and in this more than 25 years until September 1993 the constituency of Vegreville in Alberta represented.

Shortly after his first election, he was appointed to the team of experts of his party in opposition, where he was successively for Youth ( 1969-1970 ), Regional Development ( 1971-1972 ), transport ( 1972 to 1976 ), Communication ( 1973 to 1975 ), Government operations ( 1976-1977 ) and transport ( 1977-1981 ) responsible.
