Donal Logue

Donal Logue Francis ( born February 27, 1966 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian actor.

Life

The father of Logue was a Catholic priest, but gave up the practice of their profession, married and had four children. Donal Logue grew up in El Centro, California, where he was a student speaker at his high school. Later, he studied history at Harvard University and acting at London's British - American Drama Academy.

Logue also appeared in television films in some plays and since 1990. His first feature film was sneakers. - The Silent Ones of 1992 in the thriller Bad Guys he played alongside Molly Ringwald one of the main roles in Blade and stepped next to Wesley Snipes. In the comedy The bride, who dares not, he played the role of Brian, who is left by his fiancée Maggie Carpenter (Julia Roberts) just before the wedding and later a Catholic priest.

For his starring role in the comedy The Tao of Steve, he won a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. In the fantasy comedy Just Like Heaven, he starred opposite Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo.

Logue played in the years 2001 to 2005, a starring role in the television series Grounded for Life. In the years 2003 to 2005, he appeared in several episodes of the television series ER. In 2008 and 2009 he played the role of the Police Captain Tidwell in the second season of the American television series Life. In 2012, he stood in a leading role alongside Jaime King, Malcolm McDowell and Jamie Kennedy in Steven C. Miller's remake of Silent Night in front of the camera.
