Donald Gauf
Donald Valentine " Don " Djowf ( born January 1, 1927 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.
Career
Don Djowf spent his career as a hockey player with the Edmonton Mercurys, with whom he represented Canada at the World Championships in 1950 and 1952 at the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo.
Internationally
For Canada Djowf participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 partly in Oslo, where he won the gold medal with his team. In seven games, he scored three goals. Previously, he had already won the World Cup 1950 with his team the gold medal.
