Donald Tardy

Donald Tardy is an American drummer who co-founded the death metal band Obituary in the 1980s and can be heard in addition to albums by Andrew WK and Meathook Seed. Together with his brother John Tardy, he initiated the Obituary page project Tardy Brothers.

Biography

Tardy was in the mid -1980s, a member and founder of the band Executioner, which renamed itself the first in 1987 and 1989 in Xecutioner Obituary. In this he was and is active until its dissolution in 1998 and again since reunification in 2004. Beginning of the 1990s he was for a short time member of Mick Harris ' project Meathook Seed and took on the drums for the album embedded. Published for the recordings for 1999 Meathook Seed album BIBLE ( Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth), he returned as a guest drummer for the band. As a member of the band by Andrew WK, he participated in the recording of the album I Get Wet and went with the band in the following years on tour. In the founded in 2008 death metal project Tardy Brothers, he leads with his brother John, he is in addition to listening to the drums and the electric guitar and the electric bass.

For the recording of the album True Carnage of the band Six Feet Under, he was involved as a drum technician.
