Donavon Frankenreiter

Donavon Frankenreiter ( born December 10, 1972 in Downey, Los Angeles County, California) is an American surfer and musician.

Life

Before he earned his money with music, Frankenreiter was a professional surfer since the age of 16. As a musician, he made his debut at the age of 18 years, in 2002 he signed a contract with Brushfire Records, the label of his long-time friend Jack Johnson. On his debut album Donavon Frankenreiter he played with bassist Matt Grundy, percussionist David Leach, drummer and singer Dean Butterworth, keyboardist Koool G. Murder, guitarist and ukulele player Jack Johnson, harmonica player and guitarist G. Love and guitarist Rob Machado own songs, which are stylistically close to the pop music of the early 1970s. Before recording his second album Move By Yourself he left Brushfire Records and signed with Lost Highway at.
