Animal Liberation Orchestra

ALO ( Animal Liberation Orchestra ) is an American band consisting of David Brogan (drums, vocals), Dan Lebowitz (guitars, percussion, vocals ), Zach Gill (keyboards, ukulele, vocals) and Steve Adams ( bass, vocals ).

Band History

On the Saratoga High School founded Zach Gill (keyboards, vocals), Steve Adams (bass, vocals), Dan Lebowitz (guitars, percussion, vocals ) and Matt West ( drums, vocals ), her first band under the name of Django. Through their wild stage shows they were soon popular and well known throughout Santa Barbara.

After the split of the band Django Zach Gill, Dan Lebowitz and Steve Adams returned to her hometown of Saratoga and played with several different drummers. In 2002 they united again after a break and found David Brogan a solid drummer.

Keyboardist Zach Gill also went to the famous surfer and musician Jack Johnson to the same college and has good relations with him. 2006 ALO was taken at Jack Johnson's label Brushfire Records. Their debut album, Fly Between Falls was there in the same year re-released.
