Donegal Celtic F.C.

The Donegal Celtic Football and Sports Club is a Northern Irish football club was established in 1970 from the west of the capital Belfast.

History

The club was relegated in 2005/ 06 from the First Division to the Premier League. The reorganization of the league system the club was denied the license to participate in the newly formed IFA Premiership. This had in the IFA Championship, the second- highest division in the Northern Ireland football, take the Donegal Celtic FC at the start of season 2008/ 09. Two years later managed to return to the top division, before the team lost in 2013 after relegation matches against Warrenpoint Town had to join the second class in the IFA Championship.
