Donté Greene

Donté Greene ( born February 21, 1988 in Munich) is an American professional basketball player.

Greene graduated from Towson Catholic High School and Syracuse University, for their team, he acted on the forward position. When NBA Draft 2008, he was selected to 28 out of the Memphis Grizzlies, but immediately changed to the Houston Rockets, with whom he graduated from the summer preparing. In July 2008 he joined as part of the release for Ron Artest to the Sacramento Kings. In his first season he came in 55 games for, scoring an average of 3.8 points. Eventually, Greene was never able to fully catch on with the Kings and received after the expiry of his contract in 2012, no new offer from the Kings.

Greene came for several junior national teams of the United States for use. In 2006 he became Under-18 World Champion with the United States. Since Greene was born in Germany, it has been speculated in March 2009 via an insert Greene for German national basketball team because he allegedly possessed a German passport. On March 27, 2009 National coach Dirk Bauer man was known, however, that Greene will not play for Germany.
