Doris Kenyon

Doris Kenyon (actually Margaret Doris Kenyon, born September 5, 1897 in Syracuse, New York, USA, † September 1, 1979 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, USA) was an American film and theater actress, pop singer and lyricist.

Life

Kenyon was born in 1897 in Syracuse, New York U.S. State,. She was the daughter of the publisher and Baptist preacher James Kenyon. Already as a teenager, she released her first book of poems. In 1915 she made ​​her debut on Broadway. Her first film she turned also in 1915 with the title The Rack. In 1918 she founded her own film production company. In 1924, she starred in Monsieur Beaucaise on the side of the legendary Rudolph Valentino.
