Dorndorf - Steudnitz is a former municipality in the north of the Saale- wood - country circuit and part of the city Dornburg - Camburg.

Geography

Dorndorf - Steudnitz is in the middle Saale valley below the Dornburger castles in the broad floodplain of the river and on the main road 88 between Jena and Camburg. Through the valley leads the railway line between Berlin and Munich.

History
