Dorothy Dickson

Dorothy Dickson (* July 25, 1893 Kansas City, Missouri, † 25 September 1995 in London) was a British actress.

Dickson was considered a big star of the London theater. She was known primarily through interpretation of a song by Jerome Kern, Look for the Silver Lining. She was also a long time member of the Ziegfeld Follies and appeared in New York.

With her husband Carl Hyson, from whom she was divorced in 1936, she was the daughter of Dorothy Hyson ( 1914-1996 ), also an actress, who was married to the British actor Anthony Quayle.
