Dosa ben Harkinas

R. Dosa ben Archinus (also: Dossa, also: Harkinas or Harchinas ) was a Jewish scholar of antiquity, flourished about the year 100 and was part of the so-called second generation of the Tannaim.

In case of dispute he always ruled in favor of authority, even if this was in error ( Babyl. Rosh Hashanah 25a and b).

In the Sayings of the Fathers ( 3:10) has received from him the following saying: " Sleeping in the morning, wine at lunch, chattering with children and participating in meetings of uneducated people bring to the people of the world."
