Döschwitz is a district of the municipality Kretzschau in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt.

Geography

Döschwitz between Zeitz and Naumburg ( Saale). For the former municipality included the districts Döschwitz, Gladitz, Hollsteitz and Kirchsteitz.

History

On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Grana and Döschwitz merged with the municipality Kretzschau the new community Kretzschau.

Since the 1970s, it belongs to Döschwitzer tradition to stage on Sundays a local tournament for the Cup of the Mayor.
