Doug Berndt

Brian Douglas " Doug " Berndt ( born September 10, 1949 in Denver, Colorado, † February 2, 1995 ) was an American figure skater.

With his partner Barbara Brown Berndt 1970, winning the title at junior level at the U.S. Championships. In the two following years they were each third party with the seniors. In two years, she also participated in the World Figure Skating Championships and took positions 11 and 14 at the Olympic Winter Games 1972 in Sapporo Berndt and Brown reached the 12th place.

Between 1972 and 1977, Berndt participated in the ice show Holiday on Ice.

After ending his playing career Berndt earned a degree at the University of Colorado and worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines.
