Doug Honegger ( born February 24, 1968 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a former Swiss- Canadian professional ice hockey players and agents.

Career

Doug Honegger is a direct descendant of the Swiss composer Arthur Honegger. Like many young Canadian hockey player with a Swiss passport Honegger also took the chance to do in Switzerland his hobby his profession. In his junior time he was also team-mate Luc Robitaille at the Hull Olympiques in the QMJHL.

In Switzerland he played for HC Ambri -Piotta, HC Sierre, HC Lugano, HC Fribourg- Gottéron and HC Davos. For the Swiss national team, he played the World Championships in 1991, 1992 and 94 highlight was the 1992 Olympics in Albertville.
