Douglas Henshall

Douglas James Henshall ( born November 19, 1965 in Barrhead, Scotland ) is a Scottish actor.

Life

, Sometimes also called Douglas Henshall Dougie Henshall, played his most famous role in the television series Primeval - Return of the prehistoric monsters, which he left in the third episode of the third season because he wanted to concentrate on her professional development after 2 ½ years of shooting to new challenges.

Henshall grew up in Barrhead and attended Barrhead the high school. While at school, he attended the Scottish Youth Theatre in Glasgow. After school, he moved to London to study at the Mountview Theatre School. During his time in London, he received critical acclaim for his theater work, especially for Life of Stuff at the Donmar Warehouse ( 1993) and American Buffalo at the Young Vic (1997). One of his first successful film roles was as Edgar in Angels and Insects (1995 ), after which he never played as, inter alia, the Orphans (1997), Dear yesterday ... (1998) and Lawless Heart ( 2001). He also starred in several television series such as mini- Psychos (1999), Kid in the Corner (1999) and Loving You (2003) and Primeval - Return of the primordial beasts ( 2009).
