Dov Moran

Dov Moran ( born 1956 ) is an Israeli engineer, inventor and businessman.

Moran is a graduate of the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

He founded in 1989 the company M-Systems. This company developed was the memory technologies DiskOnKey and DiskOnChip, which are key components of flash memories.

As he was about business friends run a PowerPoint slide presentation, failed his notebook, on which the only copy of his presentation was saved because she was too big for a floppy. This gave him the idea of ​​developing a storage medium that was small and sturdy and could store enough data.
