Reviews

" Stylistically, working with the means of neo-realism, the film avoids sentimentality and rigorously its sentimentality. "

"Nothing is hope in Scola's film, not the church, not the family, not the class [ ... ] The vulgarity is by no means limited to the struggle for survival, it has itself become the elixir of life. And Scola brings us so incredibly close that we can not help as part of it. (...) You feel a little beaten up a little ridiculed, but also a little relieved after this film. Then Scola has sought after positions for opportunities to love people carefully "
