Drawknife

A draw knife (also draw knife, crowbar or frost knife ) is a tool for woodworking. It consists of an often slightly curved, stable and about 30 cm long single-edged blade at both ends handles sit with which one pulls the draw knife across the workpiece toward you. Drawknife be used for debarking branches and trunks, for working beams and also by sculptors or bow makers for rough shaping.

The draw knife is ground on one side only on the top side at an angle of 30 to 40 degrees.
