Dreaming Out Loud (OneRepublic album)

Dreaming Out Loud is the debut album by the American band OneRepublic. It was published on 7 December 2007 in Germany. It includes the hit single Apologize by which the band achieved worldwide fame.

The album cover shows a white tree on dark blue - black ground. It was designed by the former member of OneRepublic, Jerrod Bettis.

Success

The single Apologize was a great success. The single Stop and Stare closed to the success of almost, also sold very well and placed well. The single Say ( All I need ) could not connect to the success of the first two singles.

The album sold to date approximately two million times.

Criticism

The page laut.de awarded 3/5 points. The band would not really get going, but Ryan Tedder would convince with his voice at any time. The home page entertainment.magnus.de awarded 4/5 points, but criticized the beats of Timbaland, which are completely out of place. Pooltrax.com thinks that OneRepublic not simply operate on the concept of a hit, but have created an album with a system.
