The Sundew Family ( Droseraceae ) are a family of angiosperms ( Magnoliopsida ).
The family is the three genera waterfalls, Venus Flytrap (both monotypic) and sundew represented worldwide, which together contain about 200 species.
Description
All species of this family are herbaceous, carnivorous plants. The inflorescences are mostly winding. The radial flowers are hermaphroditic and mostly fünfzählig, sometimes cruciform. The ovaries are upper constant. It can be formed with many small seeds capsule fruits.
The water trap and the Venus flytrap catch their prey by means of a hinged case (similar to a leghold traps ), to see the kind sun only sticky traps.

Botanical history
Previously it the genus Taublatt ( Drosophyllum ) has been assigned; now they own in a family that Taublattgewächse ( Drosophyllaceae ) is provided.
