Dry Kill Logic

Dry Kill Logic is an American nu metal band that was formed in Westchester, New York 1993. From the first major label release, however, they strongly passed into the hardcore and metalcore area.

Career

Dry Kill Logic emerged from the tape hinge, who founded her own label, Psychodrama Records, after they had been taken by any label. There also their first EP came in 1997 under the title Cause Moshing is Good Fun out. This publication helped them to gigs as the opening act for bands like Exodus and Pro-Pain. In 1998, the band members returned to the studio and recorded together with Andy Katz on their second EP Elemental Evil. It was followed by appearances in the opening act for bands like Coal Chamber, Incubus, Anthrax and System of a Down. Even during the tour, there were problems with the guitarist who left the band then. Then they put some time a break, until late 1999, they found Scott Thompson with a new guitarist.

In 2000, the band received a recording contract with Roadrunner Records. Since the band members did not have the rights to the band name Hinge, they were forced to go up a new band name. In the name Dry Kill Logic blew with the guidance of an effects - amplifier. 2001 they recorded their debut album The Darker Side of Nonsense. The plate had strong similarities to bands like Fear Factory and Slipknot, and was thus in the trend of those years.

Again there were problems with the guitarist and the bassist and the label. Therefore, it was decided to continue to walk paths separated again. After another pause, Dry Kill Logic signed finally on SPV / Steamhammer. Jason Bozzi was hired as the new guitarist and bassist Danny Horboychuck as new. The band worked from then on the album The Dead And Dreaming, released in 2004. 2006, the third EP The Magellan Complex, which can be played as a DVD, and a few months later appeared the latest album of the band, Of Vengeance and Violence.
