Dubrower mountains from southwest

The Dubrower mountains are a glacially formed Survey ( terminal moraine ) in the state of Brandenburg. They are located about six kilometers southeast of Fürstenwalde / Spree in the Oder-Spree district in the triangle between the municipality Langewahl, the district of Alt Golm the community Rietz -Neuendorf and the village of Neu Golm the town of Bad Saarow.

The name derives from the Slavic " dub" for oak.

The Dubrower mountains are well connected by the only two kilometers north to the highway A12 both to Berlin and Frankfurt / Oder.

At its highest point ( 150 meters above sea level) was set up a radio tower.

The vast forests and varied terrain of mountains Dubrower and the environment are touristy used for hiking and cycling. Near the village Langewahl is found in the mountains Dubrower the Easter source.
