Duchess Elisabeth Alexandrine of Württemberg

Princess Elisabeth Alexandrine of Württemberg Constance ( born February 27, 1802 in Würzau, Courland (now Vircava, Latvia); † December 5, 1864 in Karlsruhe) was by marriage Margravine of Baden.

Life

Elisabeth Alexandrine was the youngest daughter of Duke Ludwig ( Louis) of Württemberg- Teck ( 1756-1817 ) and his second wife Princess Henrietta of Nassau- Weilburg ( 1780-1857 ), daughter of Prince Karl Christian and Princess Caroline of Orange- Nassau Dietz.

On October 16, 1830 married Princess Elisabeth Alexandrine in Stuttgart Prince Wilhelm of Baden ( 1792-1859 ), second son of Grand Duke Karl Friedrich of Baden and his second wife Luise Karoline Geyer of Geyer Berg, Countess of Hochberg. From this marriage the following children were born:

  • Pauline Wilhelmine Amalie Luise Henriėtte (1833-1834)
  • Sofie Amalie Pauline Henriėtte Louise (1834-1904) ∞ 1858 Woldemar Prince of Lippe ( 1824-1895 )
  • Pauline Sophie Elisabeth Marie (1835-1891)
  • Leopoldine Wilhelmine Pauline Amalie Maximiliane (1837-1903) ∞ 1862 Hermann Fürst zu Hohenlohe -Langenburg ( 1832-1913 )
