The Samsung Mobile 500 is one of two races of the NASCAR Sprint Cup at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas for good. In 1997, the race first took place. By the year 2007, all races held were won by another driver. There were no multiple winners. It is the longest time without multiple winner in NASCAR. 2007, this series was broken when Jeff Burton won the race for themselves.

In 1998 the race was without a sponsor and was simply called " Texas 500 ". The second race, which discharges the Sprint Cup every year at the Texas Motor Speedway, is the AAA Texas 500, which is driven until 2005 and since then has always been a race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
