Duckman - Private Dick / Family Man is an American animated television series that was developed by Jeff Reno and Ron Osborn and was based on the Dark Horse Comics by Everett Peck.

Content

The series describes the life of private detective Eric Tiberius Duckman, a duck with mostly moderate professional life and even worse success in love life. Duck Mans beloved wife Beatrice died (presumably ) before the first episode and his household is now out of his aerobic addicted sister Bernice, who regarded him as a failure, his comatose mother in law and his brilliant sons Charles and Mambo, located in one body with two heads, and his older son Ajax, which is in contrast to rather suspect at the other end of the intelligence scale.

Duckman screwed up most of its orders and survived mostly only thanks to his business partner, Cornfed ( a pig), lie dormant in the unsuspected talents.

Two other figures are the teddy bears Uranus and Fluffy Duck Mans assistants who treated him with contempt only in principle, but mostly the same brutal murder in any way, or at least maimed. When cartoon characters but they do not die and keep despite all her dripping with happiness happiness that is reminiscent of the children's cartoon series The Care Bears.

Duck Mans nemesis is King Chicken, who appears occasionally to be difficult to make his life.

Last episode, and the end of the series

Episode 70 entitled Four Weddings Inconceivable, officially last episode ends with a so-called cliffhanger. Duckman finds out something that actually would have told him Cornfed long time, but has apparently forgotten. Production and publication

The 70 episodes of the series created between 1994 and 1997 and were first broadcast from the transmitter USA Network. The production was responsible for the company Klasky Csupo. The transmitter Comedy Central beamed all episodes of the series ( slightly abridged in part ) from 2002 again.

In German-speaking Duckman first ran on January 5, 1996 at the night program of RTL 2 Since February 2007, the show is back on the premiere broadcast on stations Junior in the evening program. So far, only the first 26 episodes in the German language were sent.
