The train station of Duisburg- high field south is a large railway system in the center of Duisburg, which has several important railway lines connected to each other. In addition, here run the links to Duisburg Train Station and various industrial connectors together.

History

On August 23, 1866, section from high field to Essen RhE the railway line Osterath - Dortmund Süd Rheinische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft ( RhE ) was put into operation. At the same time Trajektbahnhof of Trajektes of Rheinhausen went into operation.

Then the breakpoint upfield ( RhE ) was opened for passenger traffic on 1 September 1866.

Current situation
