Dulé Hill

Karim Dulé Hill ( May 3, 1975 in Orange, New Jersey ) is an American actor. He became known as Charlie Young in the series The West Wing - The West Wing.

Life

As a child, Hill appeared as a dancer and singer in various successful musical productions. After completing his studies at Seton Hall University Hill first played minor roles in musicals and in movies, as in the Disney production The Secret of Green Lake, in which he plays the onion seller. His breakthrough came with his role as personal assistant to the fictional President Josiah Bartlet U.S. in the television series The West Wing, he played in seven seasons between 1999 and 2006. The role earned him several Emmy nominations, including as Best Supporting Actor. Since 2006, Hill plays the lead role of Burton " Gus" Guster in the television series Psych

Hill was married from 2004 to 2012 with the Canadian actress Nicole Lyn. Both had met in 2000 in Los Angeles. They married in the summer of 2004 in Jamaica, where their families come from. Lyn Hill stepped up next to in The West Wing and Psych.
