Duncan Gillis

Duncan Gillis ( born January 3, 1883 on the Cape Breton Island; † May 2, 1963 in Vancouver ) was a Canadian hammer and discus throwers.

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 he won the silver medal behind Matt McGrath from the United States and before his compatriot Clarence Childs in the hammer throw. In the discus throw, he finished 14th place.

In 1901 he was Canadian champion in the hammer throw and discus throw in 1913.
