Dunja Vejzović

Dunja Vejzovic ( born October 20, 1943 in Zagreb) is an opera singer in the vocal range mezzo- soprano.

Life and artistic work

The artist lived for several years in Africa, where her father worked for the UN. In her hometown, she studied both graphic ( art academy ) and singing ( Academy of Music) at Marija Borčić. They also attended master classes in Salzburg and Weimar. Your vocal studies she deepened for a year at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. At the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb began in 1969 her stage career. Two years later she joined the ensemble at the opera of Nürnberg.
