Dunthorne is a small impact craters on the lunar front side, on the edge of Palus Epidemiarum, east of the crater Vitello and southwest of Campanus. The bowl-shaped crater has hardly any signs of erosion.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British astronomer Richard Dunthorne.
