The Durban International Airport was the international airport south of the city of millions Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa. He was replaced on 1 May 2010 by the King Shaka International Airport, 30 km north of Durban. On the grounds there is still the military airfield AFB Durban.
Airport infrastructure
The airport had an airstrip and a terminal. The problem was the shortness of the runway which prevented the widespread model Boeing 747 could take off and land here.
