The Dutch euro coins are placed on the Netherlands in euro circulation coins of the European currency Euro.

Circulation coins

First embossing series (1999-2013)

All coins are minted in the Dutch mint " Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt " in Utrecht. The Dutch euro coins have two different designs, both of which show the portrait of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and were designed by Bruno Ninaber van Eyben. Since 2007, all course coins are minted with the redesigned front. The national sides of the first series do not correspond completely to the design guidelines of the European Commission from 2008 among others are on the national side as the European stars on the European flag be arranged -. According to the surveys of the Dutch website Eurodiffusie.nl the share of euro coins was still with Dutch back in the Netherlands in 2009 at about 30 %.
