E-Ten
The Taiwanese company E-TEN (also E-Ten Eten or written ) is a producer of handheld devices (PDAs, mobile phones ) and DAB receivers. E-Ten was founded in 1985 in Taiwan and has since 2000 publicly listed (TAIEX 2432 ). E-Ten implemented the first input system for the Chinese language for DOS. The development of E-Ten were partially used in the Big5 standard.
Began in 1997, E-Ten, produce PDAs, and went in 2006 to produce smartphones based on Windows Mobile, which bear the name glofiish over. In 2007, the glofiish X800 with Windows Mobile 6 and HSDPA a Best Choice Award won at Computex in Asia .. At CeBIT in Europe was also presented the device.
Early 2008, E-ten was taken over by ACER, neither E-Ten Glofiish still be be used by Acer brand.
