Earl Johnson (athlete)

Richard Earle "Earl" Johnson ( born March 10, 1891 in Woodstock, Virginia, † November 1965 ) was an American track and field athlete, who participated in the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1924 in Cross Country Running.

The Cross Country Running of Paris in 1924 was known as the " heat of battle Colombes " in history. On the little shady route along the Seine ruled temperatures above 40 ° C.
