Earshot

Earshot is an alternative metal band around the singer Wil Martin from Los Angeles, California. The band's music is inspired by his own admission by famous groups like Black Sabbath, Metallica, AC / DC and The Beatles and influenced.

Band History

In 1999, Wil Martin and Scott Kohler, the band Earshot. Shortly after Johnny Sprague and Mike Callahan came also included. It was released in 2003, the debut album Letting Go with Warner Bros. Records, on which also the song Get Away was, which was frequently played on the radio and eventually led to success. To which the song Headstrong appeared in the movie Queen of the Damned. After several months of touring with Staind, Kid Rock and the Stone Temple Pilots, the band released their first maxi - CD for the song Get Away, which ended abruptly at number 20 on the Billboard.

Two was the second album of the band, which as already appeared in 2004 under the previous Warner Bros. Records. On it was among other things the song Wait, which was then sold as a single and the tracklist of the video games MX vs. ATV Unleashed and Madden NFL 2005 was included. He was also heard on the DVD from the Tampa Bay Lightning Stanley Cup. In early 2007 signed a record deal with the label In De Goot, whereupon they went into the recording studio to record their third album, The Silver Lining up recordings, which they published the following year. The songs Missunderstood and The Ugly Truth was later published little as MCD.
