East Greenbush is a town in Rensselaer County in the U.S. state of New York. In the West, only the Hudson River separates the city of Albany.

History

The city was founded in 1855 under the name Green Bush and leads since 1858 its present name. A Hamlet existed since 1630, a church in 1787, a post office since 1845.
