East Mamprusi District

The East Mamprusi District in northern Ghana is one of 18 districts in the Northern Region and is located in its northern part. The district has common borders with the neighboring country of Togo in the east.

Population

The name derives from the district the people of the Mamprusi. In the eastern part of the district and also Bimoba Konkomba live. There are also smaller groups of Mossi ( people ) | Mossi, Talensi, Hausa, Fulani and Chakosi.
