Originally, the folk-rock band Crosby, Stills and Nash should replacement delivery, the music for the film Easy Rider. Provisionally used Peter Fonda, co-producer and ( with Dennis Hopper) screenwriter of the film and co-star some of his former favorite songs ( other sources indicate that the U.S. Cutter Thu cambers is responsible for the music selection). They fit so well that the planned overdubbed sound no longer took place. David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash expressed after viewing a rough cut of the film, they would not have him better musical accompaniment. Bob Dylan, who had been asked to contribute, contented himself to write the first lines of Ballad of Easy Rider. He gave the task to the Byrds frontman Roger McGuinn further heard ( the original could not be used for legal reasons ) is also the soundtrack whose recorded for the film cover version of Dylan songs It's Alright, Ma ( I'm Only Bleeding ).
